O2 Priority Moments Now Open to Small Local Businesses
O2 Priority Moments is now open to small local businesses, which will offer highly relevant deals to customers linking through their location
Since its launch back in 2011 O2's Priority Moments has aided over one million shoppers save more than £8million from over 3,400 offers and it has now become one of the biggest mobile offers and voucher applications in the UK. Priority Moments has now taken a big step into becoming the most comprehensive offers app on the market, despite only being available to O2 customers.
In a move that can boost users of the app and O2's customer base, both on a consumer and merchant basis, the mobile network has made the decision to open the digital high street to small local businesses, which will offer highly relevant deals to customers linking through their location.
From a merchant's point of view, this option of mobile Location Based Advertising (LBA) will be invaluable as it offers a real opportunity to drive footfall, increase sales and overall boost profit. O2 have aimed to make the use of Priority Moments as easy as possible, because as O2's research revealed, over a quarter of small businesses highlighted marketing as one of the tasks that they struggle with most.
Merchants can sign up to Priority Moments completely for free, and then they can harness the power at the disposal of O2's customer network, which has 23 million users, all of which are eligible to use Priority Moments. Joining the scheme is an easy way of carrying out mobile digital advertising and specifically for smaller businesses, Location Based Advertising when the owner or marketing manager may not have the expertise to do it alone.
This move comes as part of O2's commitment to aiding British businesses, specifically small independent ones through this time of economic and financial difficulty. By fulfilling this commitment everybody wins, merchants win with great free advertising to the relevant people at the click of a button, customers gain from the great offers and the overall economy gets a boost from the increase in sales.
